New Jersey Certification of Physician or Psychologist is a way for healthcare professionals to demonstrate their qualifications and experience in the state of New Jersey. This certification, which is granted by the State Board of Medical Examiners, is required for all physicians and psychologists who wish to practice medicine or psychology in New Jersey. There are two types of New Jersey Certification of Physician Or Psychologist: the general certification and the specialty certification. The general certification requires applicants to pass an examination and complete a minimum of two years of postgraduate training. The specialty certification requires applicants to pass an examination, complete a minimum of three years of postgraduate training, and have at least one year of experience in the specialty. Both certifications must be renewed every two years.
