Nebraska Table 1 — Income Shares Formula (DC 6:1(7)) is an income sharing formula used to determine the amount of child support each parent must pay for a child in the state of Nebraska. The formula is based on the parents' combined net monthly income, the number of children involved, and the amount of time each parent spends with the child. The formula takes into account the parents' respective shares of the total income and calculates the amount of support each parent owes. There are two types of Nebraska Table 1 — Income Shares Formula (DC 6:1(7)): the Regular Table and the High Income Table. The Regular Table is used when the combined net monthly income of the parents is less than $10,000, while the High Income Table is used when the combined net monthly income of the parents is greater than $10,000.
