Nebraska Worksheet 2 — Split Custody Calculation (DC 6:1(2)) is a worksheet used to calculate the total child support obligation when the parents have split custody in the state of Nebraska. The worksheet is divided into three parts: 1) Income and Allocation Calculation; 2) Basic Child Support Obligation; and 3) Additional Child Support Obligation. In the Income and Allocation Calculation section, the parents’ gross incomes are added up and then allocated between the parents based on the number of children they have in their respective households. The Basic Child Support Obligation section is used to calculate the basic support amount for each parent. This is determined by multiplying the parents’ allocated incomes by the applicable Nebraska Child Support Guidelines percentage. The Additional Child Support Obligation section is used to calculate any additional amount for health insurance, work-related childcare or support for a disabled child. Different types of Nebraska Worksheet 2 — Split Custody Calculation (DC 6:1(2)) include: Nebraska Worksheet 2 — Split Custody Calculation (DC 6:1(2)) for 1 Child, Nebraska Worksheet 2 — Split Custody Calculation (DC 6:1(2)) for 2 Children, and Nebraska Worksheet 2 — Split Custody Calculation (DC 6:1(2)) for 3 or More Children.
