Michigan ADR Order is a court order issued by the Michigan Court of Appeals that allows parties to resolve civil disputes through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes such as arbitration, mediation, and/or conciliation. This order is used to provide an alternative to the traditional court system, allowing for a more efficient and cost-effective resolution of disputes. The order also provides for confidential proceedings, and the results are generally binding on both parties. There are three types of Michigan ADR Order: (1) Mandatory ADR Order, which requires the parties to go through ADR; (2) Discretionary ADR Order, which allows the parties to choose to go through ADR; and (3) Hybrid ADR Order, which combines both mandatory and discretionary ADR.
