Maine Reaffirmation Agreement (B2400A)(12/15) is a form used to reaffirm a debt in the state of Maine. This document is intended to be used when a debtor has defaulted on a loan and the creditor has obtained a judgment against the debtor. It allows the debtor to agree to pay the debt in full or in installments. The agreement must be signed by both the debtor and the creditor and must be approved by the court. There are two types of Maine Reaffirmation Agreement (B2400A)(12/15): one for consumer debts and one for non-consumer debts. The consumer debt agreement is used when the debt is related to personal, family, or household purposes. The non-consumer debt agreement is used when the debt is related to business, investment, or commercial purposes.
