An Idaho Amendment to Certificate of Organization is a document filed with the Idaho Secretary of State that is used to make changes to a business entity’s Certificate of Organization. This document can be used to change the name of the organization, the registered agent, the principal office address, or the purpose of the business. There are three types of Idaho Amendments to Certificate of Organization: Name Amendment, Registered Agent Amendment, and Amendment to Statement of Purpose. A Name Amendment is used to change the name of an existing business entity. A Registered Agent Amendment is used to change the name of an existing registered agent or the address of the registered agent. An Amendment to Statement of Purpose is used to add or change the purpose of the business.
