The Hawaii Petition For Adoption Consent is a legal document that is used in the state of Hawaii for the adoption of a minor child. The purpose of the petition is to obtain the consent of a birth parent(s) or legal guardian(s) to the adoption of the minor child. The petition must be filed with the court and must include detailed information about the adoption, including the name of the prospective adoptive parent(s), the residence of the birth parent(s) or legal guardian(s), the name and date of birth of the minor child, and any other information that may be required. There are two types of Hawaii Petition For Adoption Consent: the Voluntary Consent Petition, which is used when the birth parent(s) or legal guardian(s) voluntarily give their consent to the adoption; and the Non-Voluntary Consent Petition, which is used when the birth parent(s) or legal guardian(s) do not voluntarily give their consent to the adoption.
