Florida Satisfaction of Judgment is the legal process of terminating a financial obligation that was previously enforced through a court-ordered judgment. It is a document that is filed with the court clerk in the circuit court in the county in which the judgment was rendered. The Satisfaction of Judgment is a legal document that releases the debtor from their obligation to the creditor. There are two types of Florida Satisfaction of Judgment: General and Partial. A General Satisfaction of Judgment is a document that terminates the entire amount of the judgment, while a Partial Satisfaction of Judgment is a document that terminates a portion of the judgment. In both cases, the document must be signed by both the creditor and the debtor in order to be valid.
