Florida Satisfaction of Judgment is a legal document used to formally declare that a judgment or debt has been paid in full. It is filed with the court and the clerk of the court in the county in which the original judgment was entered. This document is used to release an individual or business from the obligation to make any further payments on the judgment. There are two types of Florida Satisfaction of Judgment: Judicial Satisfaction of Judgment and Non-Judicial Satisfaction of Judgment. Judicial Satisfaction of Judgment is used when a motion is filed with the court to have the judgment satisfied. Non-Judicial Satisfaction of Judgment is used when the judgment is satisfied without the court's intervention.
