Connecticut Judicial Branch Experiential Learning Programs (HELP) Application for Court Aide Service is an application process for students to gain hands-on experience in the judicial system. This program provides an opportunity for students to learn about the court system and its operations while participating in a variety of activities. There are two types of programs that are offered: the Court Aide Program and the Internship Program. The Court Aide Program provides students with the opportunity to work in a court office and gain experience in administrative and clerical duties. The Internship Program offers students the opportunity to work with lawyers and court staff in various capacities, such as legal research and writing, court proceedings, and other related activities. The application process for both programs requires that applicants submit a resume, a completed application form, and letters of recommendation. Upon acceptance, students will receive a stipend and be expected to complete all assigned tasks and activities.
