Arkansas Power of Attorney Notice & Affidavit is a legal document that is used to authorize one person (the ‘Principal’) to act on behalf of another person (the ‘Agent’) in a legal or business transaction. The document must be signed by the Principal in front of two witnesses, and then notarized. The document must also include certain information such as the Principal’s name, address, and date of birth, as well as the Agent’s name, address, and date of birth. There are two types of Arkansas Power of Attorney Notice & Affidavit: General Power of Attorney and Special Power of Attorney. A General Power of Attorney gives the Agent broad authority to act on behalf of the Principal in all legal and financial matters. A Special Power of Attorney is more limited, and gives the Agent authority to act only in specific matters.
