The Alabama Order of Adequacy or Inadequacy of Juvenile Court Records (AO JCR) is a tool used by juvenile court chiefs, judges, and other court personnel in the state of Alabama to evaluate the accuracy and completeness of juvenile court records. The AO JCR comprises four categories: Adequate, Inadequate, Not Applicable, and Unknown. Adequate: The record is considered complete and accurate with all necessary information included. Inadequate: The record is incomplete or contains errors, omissions, or discrepancies. Not Applicable: The record does not contain the information needed to evaluate. Unknown: The record contains insufficient information to make a determination as to its accuracy or completeness. The AO JCR is used to ensure that records are accurate and up-to-date, as well as to identify any areas in need of improvement. It is also used to help ensure that juveniles receive the services they need.
