The Alabama Criminal History Information Release Form is a document used to request an individual’s criminal history record from the Alabama Bureau of Investigation (ABI). This form is used to provide a complete description of an individual’s criminal history, including arrests, convictions, and pending cases, as well as other pertinent information such as the individual’s name, birthdate, Social Security number, and address. There are two types of Alabama Criminal History Information Release Forms: the Standard Release Form and the Expedited Release Form. The Standard Release Form is available to any individual or organization requesting criminal history information for non-criminal justice purposes, which includes background checks, expungements, and other legal proceedings. The Expedited Release Form is available to any individual or organization requesting criminal history information for criminal justice purposes, such as for employment screening, security clearance, or other investigations.
