The goal of the court is to provide individuals with the support and tools needed to become healthy, productive and law-abiding citizens. There are three types of Alaska Palmer Wellness Court: adult, juvenile, and family. The adult court provides individuals with a comprehensive therapeutic approach to address issues such as mental health, substance use, and trauma. The juvenile court focuses on the youth and their families to provide the necessary support to help them overcome their issues.
