Every K–12 student in Arizona is eligible to participate in the state's Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program, regardless of family income, where the student lives within the state, or the student's past academic performance.
The only requirement is that patients receive an ESA letter from their doctor or mental health professional licensed in Arizona. When writing this letter, the mental health professional will include a brief outline of what conditions your animal provides support for.
To be eligible for the Arizona Promise Program, you must: Be an Arizona resident. Graduate from an Arizona high school with a 2.50 GPA or higher. Be admitted to ASU by April 1 as a degree-seeking first-year student for the upcoming fall term. File a FAFSA and submit verification documents by April 1.

There are specific categories in state law that ESA funds are allowed to be spent on (15-2402(4)). These categories include tuition at a qualified school, textbooks required by a qualified school, and curricula and supplementary materials, among other categories.
Tuition and fees are covered for eligible Arizona Students To qualify, a student must: Be an Arizona resident. Graduate high school with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Complete the FAFSA by April 1 of their senior year of high school and qualify for any federal Pell Grant.
