If you hold a current salesperson real estate license in any of these following states, you can apply using reciprocity: Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Washington, and West Virginia.
A candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent and must be 21 years of age or older. In addition, the candidate must have acquired 16 credits, or 240 hours of instruction, in professional real estate education as determined by the State Real Estate Commission.

If your license is currently inactive or expired, you have five years from the date of inactivity or expiration to reactivate your license without taking the licensing examinations. Your completed application for reactivation must be received in our office before your five year deadline.
