Here's how you can use them: Open OneNote and navigate to the Insert tab. Click on Page Templates to open a pane on the right side of your notebook. Browse through template categories like business, meeting notes, and project management. Select a template that suits your needs and customize it as required.
In OneNote, click anywhere on the page where you want to insert a file. Click Insert > File Attachment. In the Choose a file to Insert dialog box, choose the file you want to attach, and then select Insert. Tip: You can either choose Attach File to show an icon, or Insert Printout to insert the contents of the file.
On the ribbon, choose Insert > Page Templates. In the Templates task pane, click the small arrows next to the category names to expand them. To apply a template to a new page, select its name in the list. If you don't like your selection, select another template to replace your previous selection.
Just open a SkyDrive or SharePoint notebook in OneNote and click File, then Share, then choose Invite People, and follow the on-screen instructions to email your meeting attendees a link to the notebook so they can open it and start reading or editing.
Click anywhere on the page where you want to insert a PDF file as a printout. Click Insert > PDF Printout. In the Choose a file to Insert dialog box, click the PDF file you want to print to OneNote, and then click Insert. Create a pre-formatted agenda and make a copy for each new meeting. OneNote allows users to make a copy of any section or page, and place it into any OneNote notebook, even if it's not the one holding the template itself. This is best if you have several different templates you want to use, depending on the occasion.
