The District of Columbia Bar (the"Bar"), a mandatory bar, was created by the District of Columbia Court of Appeals (the "Court") and is subject to the Court's Rules Governing the Bar (the"Rules").
It's not a fast process. It took me 5-6 months to waive in this year based on my exam score elsewhere, and I think that's relatively quick. I would go to their website and apply soon to get the ball rolling. Once you send everything in, you probably won't hear anything for a good while.
