Washington Verification of School Enrollment (WA VOTE) is a state-mandated process for verifying the enrollment status of students in Washington schools. WA VOTE is used to ensure that students are enrolled in school and to provide documentation for state and federal funding. WA VOTE is conducted by the Washington Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSI). There are two types of Washington Verification of School Enrollment: Full-Time Verification and Part-Time Verification. Full-Time Verification is used to verify enrollment in public and private schools, and must be completed for each school year. Part-Time Verification is used to verify enrollment in public schools, but only for students enrolled in less than full-time status.
