This is a sample Security Deposit Demand Letter. Security deposit demand letter is used to request the return of a security deposit from a landlord to a tenant. A demand letter is a letter asserting your rights under landlord-tenant law to demand the return of your deposit. After the tenant's lease expires and they vacate the dwelling, they must ask the landlord to refund their deposit.
