Washington Workers' Compensation Discrimination occurs when an employer discriminates against an employee due to their disability or injury. This includes refusing to hire, firing, demoting, reducing pay, or otherwise discriminating against an employee in any way because of a disability or injury that is covered under Washington Workers' Compensation law. There are three main types of Washington Workers' Compensation Discrimination: 1) disability-based discrimination, which occurs when an employer discriminates against an employee based on their disability; 2) medical condition-based discrimination, which occurs when an employer discriminates against an employee based on their medical condition; and 3) injury-based discrimination, which occurs when an employer discriminates against an employee based on their injury.
