The Washington Motion for an Order Appointing Attorney (MT) is a motion filed in a Washington state court to appoint an attorney to represent a party in litigation. There are two types of Washington Motion for an Order Appointing Attorney (MT): one for civil cases, and one for criminal cases. In both types of motions, the petitioner must provide the court with a detailed statement of the facts and law supporting their request for appointment of an attorney. The petitioner must also provide evidence of their inability to afford counsel. The court reviews the motion and, if satisfied, orders an attorney to represent the petitioner.
