Washington Declaration of Completion (Guardianship of a Minor) RCW 11.88.140(2) (DCL CMP) is a document used by the courts in Washington state to officially end a guardianship of a minor. It is also known as a “guardianship termination” document. The document must be signed by the guardian and the court. It must include the name of the guardian, the date the guardianship is ending, the name of the minor, and the signature of the court. There are two types of Washington Declaration of Completion: the Guardianship of a Minor RCW 11.88.140(2) (DCL CMP) and the Guardian of Property RCW 11.88.140(3) (DCL CMP). The former is used to end the guardianship of a minor, while the latter is used to end the guardianship of a minor's property.
