The Washington Commercial Registered Agent Listing Statement is a document required by the Washington Secretary of State for any business registered in the state. This document must be filed by all Washington commercial entities (such as corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships) and must list the name and address of the business’s registered agent. The registered agent is the party responsible for receiving any legal notifications or documents on behalf of the business. There are three types of Washington Commercial Registered Agent Listing Statements: Initial Listing Statement, Change of Registered Agent, and Change of Registered Office. The Initial Listing Statement is required for new business entities and must list the name and address of the initial registered agent and office. The Change of Registered Agent Statement is used to change the name or address of the registered agent. Finally, the Change of Registered Office Statement is used to update the registered office address.
