Washington Subpoena is a legal document issued by a Washington State court or an agency of the state that requires a person or entity to provide testimony, documents, or other evidence relevant to a case. There are two types of Washington Subpoenas: a Subpoena Ducks Cecum (SET) and a Subpoena Ad Testificandum (SAT). The SET requires the recipient to produce documents, such as emails, text messages, or other records, that may be relevant to the case, while the SAT requires the recipient to appear in court or before an administrative agency to testify. In both cases, the recipient must comply or risk civil or criminal penalties.
