Utah Request To Dismiss Civil Stalking Injunction is a form used to request the dismissal of a civil stalking injunction issued by a Utah court. It is typically used when the respondent (the person against whom the order was issued) believes the order was issued in error or is no longer necessary. There are two types of Utah Request To Dismiss Civil Stalking Injunctions: (1) Request For Dismissal Based On Good Cause, and (2) Request For Dismissal Based On Time Lapse. The Request For Dismissal Based On Good Cause must include a sworn statement from the respondent setting forth the facts and circumstances which demonstrate why the order should be dismissed. The Request For Dismissal Based On Time Lapse must include a sworn statement from the respondent that the time period set forth in the order has expired. Both requests must be submitted to the court where the order was issued.
