Utah Acceptance of Service is a legal process that allows an individual to accept formal service of process in a particular jurisdiction. This process is used in civil lawsuits in the state of Utah and can be accomplished in two ways: by signing a written document or by appearing at a court hearing. In the written document, the individual agrees to accept service and waive any objections to the service. At the court hearing, the individual must appear in person and acknowledge service of process. The Utah Acceptance of Service can be done for any type of civil lawsuit, including but not limited to, divorce, child custody, personal injury, and contract disputes.
