Sec. 2252A(A)(4)(B) Sale or Possession With Intent to Sell of Child Pornography in Interstate or Foreign Commerce is a federal law that makes it illegal to knowingly transport, ship, receive, or possess with intent to distribute any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct if such material was produced using materials that have been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce. This law applies to any form of child pornography, including digital images, videos, or prints, and applies regardless of whether the material contains actual images of minors or computer generated images that appear to be minors. Types of prohibited activities under this law include production, distribution, receipt, advertisement, or possession of child pornography, as well as transporting or shipping such material in interstate or foreign commerce. Penalties for violations of this law can include fines and/or imprisonment.
