18 U.S.C. Sec. 2243(A) Sexual Abuse of a Minor is a federal statute that prohibits any individual from knowingly engaging in, or attempting to engage in, sexual contact with a minor who is under the age of 16. This includes any contact between the minor's genitals or intimate parts and any part of the defendant's body, or any object, or causing the minor to engage in such contact with another person.
