A Texas Warrant to Seize a Vessel is a court order issued by a Texas court that allows the seizing of a vessel (i.e. boat, ship, etc.) due to a violation of Texas law. This type of warrant gives the law enforcement officers the authority to seize the vessel and bring it before the court for a hearing. The Texas Warrant to Seize a Vessel may be issued for a variety of reasons, including unpaid taxes, failure to register the vessel, or suspected criminal activity. There are two main types of Texas Warrant to Seize a Vessel: a Seizure Warrant and an Arrest Warrant. A Seizure Warrant authorizes the seizing of the vessel without arresting the owner, while an Arrest Warrant authorizes the arresting of the vessel owner in addition to the seizure.
