A Pennsylvania Subpoena is a court-issued document that requires a person or entity to appear in court to provide testimony or documents for a legal proceeding. There are two types of Pennsylvania Subpoenas: 1) Pennsylvania Subpoena Ducks Cecum, which requires the recipient to produce documents or other tangible items; and 2) Pennsylvania Subpoena Ad Testificandum, which requires the recipient to appear in court and provide testimony. Both types of Pennsylvania Subpoena must be served upon the recipient personally, by mail, or by the sheriff. The recipient must comply with the requirements of the Subpoena, or they could face civil or criminal penalties.
