The Pennsylvania Application For Initial Certification As Arbitration Panelist is a document issued by the Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs to certify individuals for the purpose of conducting arbitration proceedings in the state. This document is used to apply for initial certification as an arbitrator and is required for individuals who wish to serve on a panel of arbitrators in Pennsylvania. The application is divided into six sections, including information about the applicant, a description of arbitration knowledge and experience, a statement of understanding, and an agreement to abide by the Standards of Professional Conduct for Arbitrators in Pennsylvania.
