Pennsylvania Precise is a legal document filed with the court to initiate a civil action or motion in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is used to bring a lawsuit or motion to court and must include the names of the parties involved, a description of the relief sought, and a listing of the documents attached to the Precise. There are two main types of Pennsylvania Precise: Precise for Writ of Summons and Precise for Judgment on the Pleadings. The Precise for Writ of Summons is filed to initiate a civil action and is accompanied by a Complaint, issued by the Clerk of Courts. The Precise for Judgment on the Pleadings is filed when all parties agree on the outcome of the case and is accompanied by a Judgment on the Pleadings.
