The Oregon Certificate of Satisfaction of Discharge of Agricultural Services Lien (ASL-2) is a document used to release a lien placed on agricultural property when a debt has been paid in full. The document is issued by the County Clerk in the county where the lien was recorded and must be signed by the creditor in order to release the lien. There are two types of Oregon Certificate of Satisfaction of Discharge of Agricultural Services Lien (ASL-2): an Original Certificate of Satisfaction and a Copy Certificate of Satisfaction. The Original Certificate of Satisfaction is filed with the county recorder and the Copy Certificate of Satisfaction is sent to the creditor as proof of payment. This document is used to protect agricultural producers from unfair debt collection practices and to ensure that all lenders receive payment for services provided.
