Oregon Civil Subpoena is a legal document issued by a court or other legal entity requiring someone to appear in court or provide documents or other information related to a civil case. It is also known as a subpoena duces tecum. There are two types of Oregon Civil Subpoena: Subpoena to Testify and Subpoena for Records. A Subpoena to Testify requires a person to appear and testify in court or before a tribunal. A Subpoena for Records requires someone to produce documents or other records in their possession. A Subpoena may be issued by an attorney or by the court itself. The recipient of a Subpoena must comply with the terms of the Subpoena or face possible civil and criminal penalties.
