Oklahoma Resignation of Resident Agent is a document used to terminate the appointment of an individual or entity as a resident agent of a business in the state of Oklahoma. This document must be filed with the Oklahoma Secretary of State in order to be effective. There are two types of Oklahoma Resignation of Resident Agent: 1) General Resignation of Resident Agent which terminates the appointment of the Resident Agent in all capacities; and 2) Specific Resignation of Resident Agent which terminates the appointment of the Resident Agent in one or more specific capacities. Both types of resignation must include the name of the business entity, the name of the Resident Agent, the address of the Resident Agent, the date of the resignation, and the signature of the Resident Agent.
