New York CEP (Common Entry Point) is a web-based system used by state agencies in New York to manage the procurement process. It helps agencies to streamline the process of purchasing goods and services, from vendor registration to contract award. New York CEP also supports electronic submission of bids, proposals, and other documents, eliminating the need to manually file paperwork. There are two types of New York CEP: CEP-NYS and CEP-NYC. CEP-NYS is used by state agencies outside of New York City, while CEP-NYC is used for agencies within the five boroughs of New York City.
