New York Affidavit in Opposition (CIV-LT-13A) is a document used in New York Civil Court proceedings to oppose a motion by the opposing party. This form is used to file a legal response to the opposing party's motion. It is typically accompanied by a Notice of Cross Motion (CIV-LT-13B) and/or a Memorandum of Law (CIV-LT-13C). The Affidavit in Opposition should include a statement of facts, legal arguments, and supporting documentation. There are two types of New York Affidavits in Opposition: one for Summary Judgment (CIV-LT-13A-SUMJ) and one for Uncontested Motions (CIV-LT-13A-UNC).
