New York The Chief Judge's Task Force on Commercial Litigation in the 21st Century — Report is a comprehensive project initiated in 2015 by Chief Judge Jonathan Lippmann of the New York Court of Appeals. The aim of the project is to review the current state of commercial litigation in the 21st century and make recommendations to improve it. The report was released in December 2016 and includes a range of findings and recommendations for improving commercial litigation in New York. It covers topics such as court structure, rules of procedure, case management, court technology, ADR, and judicial education. The report also provides an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the current system, and offers a set of recommendations to address them. There are two versions of the report: a full version containing all the findings and recommendations, and an abridged version, which provides an overview of the report’s findings and recommendations.
