The Nevada Amendment to Application for Registration of a Foreign Limited-Liability Company(NRS CHAPTER86) is a document that must be filed with the Nevada Secretary of State in order to allow a foreign limited-liability company (LLC) to register and do business in the state of Nevada. This amendment must be completed and notarized by an authorized representative of the foreign LLC and must include the name of the foreign LLC, the state or country of its formation, the date of formation, the original filing date, the date of the amendment, and an acknowledgement that the foreign LLC agrees to comply with all state laws and regulations. There are two types of Nevada Amendment to Application for Registration of a Foreign Limited-Liability Company(NRS CHAPTER86): a Certificate of Amendment and an Amendment of Articles of Organization. The Certificate of Amendment is used to make changes to an existing foreign LLC’s articles of organization, while the Amendment of Articles of Organization is used to make changes to the foreign LLC’s articles of organization prior to registration.
