New Jersey Judgment Granting Administration Ad Prosequendum is a legal document issued by a court in the state of New Jersey in order to appoint an administrator or executor (the “Administrator Ad Prosequendum”) to manage the estate of a deceased person. The Administrator Ad Prosequendum is responsible for collecting and distributing the deceased’s assets to the beneficiaries in accordance with the wishes of the deceased or the law, and for settling any debts and managing the estate’s finances. There are two types of New Jersey Judgment Granting Administration Ad Prosequendum: Letters of Administration and Letters of Administration with Will Annexed. Letters of Administration are issued when the deceased did not leave a will, while Letters of Administration with Will Annexed are issued if the deceased left a will. In both cases, the Administrator Ad Prosequendum must be approved by the court. Once approved, the Administrator Ad Prosequendum is authorized to act as the representative of the estate.
