The New Jersey List of Items to be Redacted is a list of items that are not allowed to be publicly disclosed in the state of New Jersey. This list is required to be followed by all government agencies and public offices. These items include personally identifiable information (PIN) such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, passport numbers, financial account numbers, and any other information that could be used to identify an individual. The list also includes sensitive data such as medical records, student records, and confidential business records. In addition, any information related to trade secrets, confidential communications, and non-public government records are also included in the list. There are two types of New Jersey List of Items to be Redacted: the Standard List and the Enhanced List. The Standard List includes a greater range of items to be redacted, while the Enhanced List is more specific and includes additional items that may be subject to certain state-specific regulations.
