The Nebraska Effective Financing Statement — Additional DebtorsinsteadAD) is a legal document that is used to protect the interest of a secured party in the event of a default. It is an amendment to the original Nebraska Effective Financing Statement (NEWS) and is used to identify additional debtors who are not listed on the original financing statement. The NESTED is filed with the Nebraska Secretary of State and is recorded in the Nebraska UCC Central Index System (CIS). There are two types of Nebraska Effective Financing Statement — Additional Debtors: the initial filing NESTED and the amendment filing NESTED. The initial filing NESTED is used to add new debtors to the original financing statement, while the amendment filing NESTED is used to update the information of existing debtors.
