Nebraska Foreign Change of Registered Agent And Or Office (Foreign Corp) is a process for companies that are incorporated outside of Nebraska to register and operate in the state. It is a legal requirement for any foreign corporation to register with the Nebraska Secretary of State before conducting business in the state. This process consists of filing a Certificate of Foreign Corporation with the Secretary of State, which includes information about the company's name, principal office address and registered agent for service of process. The registered agent must have a physical address in the state of Nebraska. Additionally, the foreign corporation must pay any applicable fees and submit the required documents. There are two types of Nebraska Foreign Change of Registered Agent And Or Office (Foreign Corp): Initial Registration and Change of Registered Agent and/or Office. Initial Registration is for foreign corporations that have never registered in Nebraska before. Change of Registered Agent and/or Office is for foreign corporations that have already registered in Nebraska and are changing their registered agent or office.
