Nebraska Foreign Change of Registered Agent and or Office (Foreign Corp) is a process by which a foreign business entity can update the information of its Registered Agent and or Office in Nebraska. This process is required when a foreign corporation has changed its registered agent or office in Nebraska. There are two types of Nebraska Foreign Change of Registered Agent and or Office (Foreign Corp): a Certificate of Amendment and a Certificate of Change. The Certificate of Amendment is used when the foreign corporation needs to make changes to its Articles of Incorporation, while the Certificate of Change is used when the foreign corporation needs to change its registered agent or office. In either case, the foreign corporation must submit the appropriate paperwork to the Nebraska Secretary of State's office. Once the paperwork is approved, the foreign corporation's changes will be officially recorded.
