North Carolina Certification of Training for Use of Courtroom Technology is a program provided by the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) to ensure that court personnel are adequately trained in the use of courtroom technology. The program provides certification to court personnel on the use of various technology systems utilized in North Carolina courtrooms, such as audio/visual systems, digital evidence systems, and digital recording systems. There are three types of North Carolina Certification of Training for Use of Courtroom Technology: Audio/Visual System Certification, Digital Evidence System Certification, and Digital Recording System Certification. Each certification includes training on the use of technology, equipment, and software, as well as troubleshooting and maintenance.
