A Minnesota Order Terminating Guardianship — Conservatorship is a court order issued by a Minnesota court that legally ends a guardianship or conservatorship arrangement. This type of order is typically sought when the ward (the person under guardianship or conservatorship) has either reached the age of majority (18 in most states) or is otherwise able to care for themselves. The order will typically state the reasons for terminating the guardianship or conservatorship, such as the ward being able to provide for their own needs. It may also require the guardian or conservator to transfer any remaining assets to the ward or to another designated person or entity. There are two types of Minnesota Order Terminating Guardianship — Conservatorship: 1) Guardianship Termination Order and 2) Conservatorship Termination Order.
