Michigan Republican Delegate Candidates are individuals who are selected to represent their state at the Republican National Convention. They are responsible for casting votes on behalf of their state's Republican Party. The Michigan Republican Party selects three types of Delegate Candidates: At-Large Delegates, Congressional District Delegates, and Automatic Delegates. At-Large Delegates are elected at the state level and represent the state as a whole. Congressional District Delegates are elected from each of Michigan's 14 congressional districts. Automatic Delegates are party leaders and elected officials who serve as delegates without needing to be elected. All Michigan Republican Delegate Candidates are required to be registered Republicans in the state of Michigan.
