Michigan Restated Articles of Incorporation For Use By Domestic Profit Corporation is a document used in the state of Michigan to amend the original articles of incorporation of a domestic profit corporation. This document is used to update the company’s name, address, capital, purpose, management structure, and other information contained in the original articles. It must be filed with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) to be legally binding. There are two types of Michigan Restated Articles of Incorporation For Use By Domestic Profit Corporation: a single-member Restated Articles and a multiple-member Restated Articles. The single-member Restated Articles is used when the corporation has only one shareholder and the multiple-member Restated Articles is used when the corporation has more than one shareholder.
