The Kentucky Statement of Change of Registered Agent and Office is a document filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State that is used to change the registered office and/or the registered agent of a business entity registered in the state. This document must be signed by a person authorized to make such changes and can be filed online or by mail. There are two main types of Kentucky Statement of Change of Registered Agent and Office documents: 1) Kentucky Statement of Change of Registered Agent and Office for LCS and 2) Kentucky Statement of Change of Registered Agent and Office for Corporations. The information required for both types of documents includes the name of the business, its current registered office address, current registered agent, and the name and address of the new registered office and the new registered agent. Once the document is completed, it must be signed and filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State. When the filing is approved, the changes will be reflected in the Kentucky Secretary of State's records.
